OSHAWA, ONTARIO – This past weekend Panthera Tech competed in its first-ever FRC competition at Durham College, posting a 10-8-0 record in round robin play. The team’s robust design and reliable performance earned the attention of the second alliance captains Alpha Dogs, who selected us to round out their alliance.

After hard competition in the quarter and semifinal rounds, our alliance advanced to the finals, where we ultimately fell to the top-seeded alliance.

6867’s hard work, perseverance, and focus caught the attention of the judges, who honoured us as recipients of the event’s Rookie All-Star award.

Our team learned much through the competition, developing new strategies as we saw how our robot performed in match play. We’re excited to return to the shop to make some small adjustments to the robot during our unbag time, and look forward to our next competition at York University!
